Welcome to the HARDWICK Lab

We study the genes and proteins that regulate programmed cell death and how they determine disease states, using models relevant to pathogen infection, neurodegeneration, and lymphoma. In addition, we study how single-cell microorganisms die to generate the knowledge needed to treat yeast infections by activating intrinsic yeast cell death programs.
